Order Tattoo Jam: Lets Go!

This year, I had the incredible opportunity to attend Tattoo Jam in Amsterdam, a gathering that celebrates creativity, craftsmanship, and the vibrant world of tattooing. It wasn’t just any trip—it was an experience that I’ll never forget, made even more special because I was invited by two of the most legendary people in the industry: Kim Anh Nguyen and her husband Jerone Franken from Seven Seas Atelier in Eindhoven.

The Invitation from Legends

When Kim Anh and Jerone extended the invitation, I was beyond honored. Kim Anh is known for her bold and imaginative tattoo work, blending traditional and modern styles, and Jerone has been a pillar in the tattoo community with his dedication to the craft. Together, they run Seven Seas Atelier in Eindhoven, a studio that has become synonymous with innovation and artistry in tattooing.

Their reputation precedes them, and their kindness and generosity only added to their legendary status. The fact that they thought of me and invited me to Tattoo Jam was a humbling moment in my journey as a tattoo artist.

Order Tattoo Jam: A Hub of Creativity in Amsterdam

Tattoo Jam is one of the most exciting events in the tattoo world, drawing artists and enthusiasts from all over the globe. Hosted in the lively and art-filled city of Amsterdam, the event was a melting pot of styles, techniques, and cultural exchanges.

From the moment I arrived, the energy was electric. Artists were setting up their booths, clients were lining up for their dream tattoos, and the hum of tattoo machines filled the air. This wasn’t just an event; it was a celebration of tattooing as an art form.

Our host Etienne did an incredible job curating a space that felt inclusive, inspiring, and dynamic. It was clear that every detail was carefully thought out to highlight the creativity and passion of the artists involved.

Meeting Artists and Sharing Ideas

One of the best parts of attending Tattoo Jam was meeting so many talented artists from around the world. It was amazing to exchange ideas, watch different techniques in action, and learn from each other’s experiences.

Neo-traditional tattooing, my specialty, was well-represented, and I loved seeing how other artists interpreted the style in their own unique ways. The event was also a chance to showcase my work and share my approach to bold lines, full-saturation color, and storytelling through tattoos.

Amsterdam’s Artistic Vibe

Outside of the event, exploring Amsterdam was a highlight in itself. The city’s artistic culture is everywhere—in its museums, architecture, and even the streets. Walking through Amsterdam felt like stepping into a living canvas, with inspiration at every turn.

From the canals to the coffee shops, Amsterdam’s charm added a special touch to the entire trip. It was the perfect backdrop for an event like Tattoo Jam, where art and culture come together.

A Memorable Experience

Being invited by Kim Anh Nguyen and Jerone from Seven Seas Atelier made this trip unforgettable. Their warmth, humility, and passion for tattooing were inspiring, and it was an honor to spend time with them in such an incredible setting.

Tattoo Jam wasn’t just about showcasing talent—it was about connection, community, and celebrating the art we all love. It reminded me why I became a tattoo artist in the first place: to create, to learn, and to share stories through ink.

Looking Ahead

This experience has left me more inspired than ever. Tattoo Jam reinforced the importance of community in our industry and the endless possibilities for creativity. I’m incredibly grateful to Kim Anh and Jerone for their invitation and to everyone who made this event so memorable.

If you ever have the chance to attend Order Tattoo Jam or visit Seven Seas Atelier in Eindhoven, don’t miss it. It’s experiences like these that remind us why we love what we do.
